Join us on Tuesday and Thursdays on the Indoor Ranges to learn the skill of NRA Bullseye Pistol shooting. You do not need to be good, you just need to show up and try. We start at 8pm, but gather prior to that to get setup and socialize.
During the competition season we travel to local area clubs to compete shoulder to shoulder in the South Shore Rifle and Pistol League. Only the top 5 score count as the Team score. See the Team page for more info and schedule.
Join us the 1st Friday or every month for Archery under the Lights on the Practice Archery Field. Weather Permitting.
Various games are played with the Bow and Arrow. from Dart to Pingpong ball shoot to Small Target scoring.
There is always some sort of game meal provided.

This is not just shooting at Steel Plates or Poppers. This is an action Pistol Event that combines Timed shooting, Moving and Multiple types of target engagements. Paper and Steel.

Skeet shooting is a fast paced shooing event. Very similar to bird hunting.

If we do not get people to volunteer to help clean the Indoor Ranges on Saturday WorkParty the President will Close the Ranges.
Scott Herman has volunteered to setup a rotating crew of people to be instructed in how to properly clean the ranges.
It involves squeegeeing the large items up. Using a HEPA Vacuum. Maintain the cleanliness to prevent contamination of other parts of the Clubhouse.
Work Hours can be achieved during this time to help reduce your dues.
Spend an hour or so making sure that you can use the Indoor Ranges.
Join us on the 3rd Sunday of every month for Civilian Marksmanship Program shooting. CMP starts off with Pistols at 9am and the then Rifles after Pistol. there are Club Rifles available and ammo available for purchase. you may bring your own pistols and Rifles and Ammo.

Firearms Safety Course with Live Fire Shooting!
This beginner class will satisfy the requirement to apply for either your license to carry, or your Firearms Identification Card (FID). The course will consist of 4-5 hours of classroom training which will include the following:
Gun owner responsibilities, safe firearm handling rules, firearms etiquette, introduction to handling firearms, ammunition and components familiarization, Massachusetts Laws pertaining to firearms, how to fill out your application and what to expect in your interview process.
Following the classroom portion, students will be given a brief lunch break before the live fire portion. The live fire portion will consist of fundamental basics of marksmanship. Each student will shoot 50 rounds. At the completion of the shooting, students will be awarded a certificate of completion.
The club instructor is a full time police officer and certified firearms instructor. Cost for the course is $150 and is payable to the Holbrook Sportsmen’s Club.

ATA Mayday Registered Shoot
Holbrook Sportsmen's Club is proud to offer the exciting action pistol event know as Steel Challenge. With stages know as Pendulum and Smoke and Hope, there is plenty of opportunities to excel.
Check in will be at 8am, Safety Briefing at 8:45. Shooting starts at 9am promptly.
Sign Up. Competitors will be given the opportunity to sign up online to reserve their squadding. Sign up will be allowed first for HSC Members then to the general public.
Arrive at the match an hour before start time to get completely checked in. Matches start promptly at 9am. Safety briefing is at 8:45am
Matches are held on the Last Sunday of the month. Fair Weather Matches only.
Non Members $20
Minimum of 125 rounds of ammunition needed.
