If you’re interested in participating in action shooting events such as IDPA, USPSA, PCSL, Steel Challenge, or 2-Gun, this class will provide the essential safety knowledge and foundational understanding to help you get involved confidently and responsibly.

Gerry Connors will lead a 2-hour classroom session covering core rules, range safety, and proper match etiquette. While there are some differences between disciplines, this class will address the shared fundamentals across all of them.

If you plan to attend, please register your interest in advance.

The class will begin promptly at 6:00 PM. A live demonstration may be included. No equipment is required to attend.

Orientation & Safety Class

All Orientation & Safety classes are held the second Saturday of every month (except December). Invitations for this class will be emailed directly to eligible New Applicants from Membership. Eligible New Applicants are people that have completely completed Task #1 (4-step process). Please respond to the invitation received to reserve your space in the class. (Check your spam folder for invite just in case.) Please make sure you read all instructions on the email invite. After the class you will pay balance of dues and a one-time initiation fee.

The Precision Rifle Series (PRS) is a rimfire precision bolt action .22 rifle competition during which competitors engage variable sized steel targets from distances ranging between 25 and 220 yards . Shooting positions are varied and may include, but are not limited to, Bianchi barricades, ladders, platforms and simulated rooflines.
